El Viso is unique in Europe: a colony of rationalist villas right on the Castellana axis. Designed between 1933 and 1936 by Rafael Bergamín as a garden city, it preserves its two-storey single-family homes with gardens, Madrid's first with private garages.

Living in El Viso means a house with a garden ten minutes from the Golden Mile. Its calm, tree-lined streets (northern Serrano, María de Molina, the surroundings of the Natural Sciences Museum) host embassies, foundations and some of the capital's most discreet and valuable residences.

The extreme scarcity of product and the impossibility of replicating the model make it one of Spain's most solid markets, with the average home above €1.6 million.
