Description

The residential architecture of the 1930s provides a period setting for the thoroughly updated interiors of this 72 sqm home in Almagro. Its renovation has simplified the floor plan and made considered use of each room, resulting in a contemporary two-bedroom residence ready for immediate occupation.

An eastern aspect brings a pleasant quality of light during the morning. Facing inwards also gives the apartment a quieter, more sheltered atmosphere—an appealing contrast to such a central Madrid location.

Living, dining and cooking are brought together within a fluid principal space. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and integrated without unnecessary partitions, helping the social area feel more continuous and spacious.

A balcony introduces a welcome outdoor element, providing an additional sense of openness within the home.

The two bedrooms are arranged away from the principal living functions and share a full bathroom. The second room offers useful flexibility, working equally well as permanent sleeping accommodation, a guest room or a private study.

The residence is delivered fully furnished and equipped. Split air conditioning and individual boiler heating provide independent climate control throughout the year.

Dating from 1930, the building benefits from both a lift and porter service while retaining the architectural presence associated with Chamberí's traditional residential fabric.

Almagro is characterised by elegant apartment buildings, historic mansions and embassies, alongside a refined selection of restaurants, galleries and independent shops. Its proximity to Paseo de la Castellana and the wider Chamberí district creates a distinctly residential setting with central Madrid always close at hand.
