La Moraleja
La Moraleja originated as a 1,150-hectare holm oak estate belonging to the Spanish Crown, later acquired by the Count of los Gaitanes. In 1946 its development plan was approved as a garden city, with the rule that 70% of the land must remain green. Today it covers some 950 hectares with approximately 1,050 detached houses and 400 townhouses.
Its zones offer different levels of exclusivity: La Moraleja Centro, the South Zone with minimum plots of 2,500 m², El Soto de la Moraleja and El Encinar de los Reyes. Round-the-clock private security, four access control gates, mobile patrols and CCTV provide security unmatched anywhere in Madrid. Villas range from €1.5 to €20 million, with average prices around €6,700/m².
Five of Madrid's ten most expensive private schools are located here: International College Spain (IB, over 70 nationalities), Runnymede College, King's College, Brewster Madrid and San Patricio. The Swiss School of Madrid completes the international education offering.
The Real Club La Moraleja, founded in 1973 with 6,000 members, features four 18-hole golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, 8 tennis courts, 12 padel courts and a spa. It has hosted the Golf World Cup and the Spanish Open.
Ten minutes from Barajas Airport via the M-12, 20 minutes from the city centre via the A-1, and with metro access (line 10), La Moraleja is the choice of IBEX 35 executives, diplomats and international investors seeking maximum privacy without sacrificing connectivity.
